A traditional floating village in the middle of the urban jungle. No other place is so firmly rooted in its fisherman’s past; it is where Hong Kong history began and it still is the home of the boat people. Home to the city’s main wholesale fish market with a crack-of-dawn offering of the best fresh seafood, it is the best place to discover the true spirit of Hong Kong. Hop on a sampan and get a unique insight into how people live, eat, pray and play on the water.
