A hotspot for accessories, bags and clothes
- Between Bhadra Fort and Teen Darwaza, Bhadra
- Market sets up from 7am to 11pm
Historical backdrop
Bhadra market is a bustling, vibrant open space, overlooked by the astute Premabhai Hall. Built by royal decree, buried under market stalls and revived by visionary architects. The lost grandeur of the Maidan Shah is back, now a friendly pedestrian zone and a thriving open-air market with an enormous variety of goods from household accessories, groceries, food items to jewellery, from purses and bags to antiques.
Kings Bazaar
The market square was originally designed as the royal square. Many locals still refer to it as the Khas bazaar or King’s market, like a lifeline to the tales of the old city.
