Flagship store of home-grown home ware brand
Road to paradise
What began as a small homeware boutique in 1987 has since grown into a contemporary design and hospitality empire. This store opened in 1994 and today stands as the flagship store of the brand. Housed in an old mansion it is stocked from floor to ceiling with locally produced home ware, local handicrafts, antiques, clothing, giftware, crockery and more.
There is also a café up the stairs that serves great cakes. Or even better, go to the nearby Gallery Café housed in the beautifully converted former offices of Geoffrey Bawa. Their dessert menu is unrivalled, there are more than 25 options on the menu, the passion fruit meringue pie and or the chocolate nemesis are irresistible.
