This is where local people buy their rice. The shop is run by U Bo Win, a native of Shwebo, where the best quality rice comes from. His son Jimmy Tun happily explains the qualities of the different kinds of rice grains and the family history. The shop has been running since 2003 and even exports to China and Africa.
Know your rice
The best rice from Shwebo is priced at 2,000 kyat. With lesser quality Myaungmya rice costing 1,200-1,500 kyat.
Business education
Jimmy Tun also runs a business school called Golden Future Management Institute nearby where he shares his overseas business education and his real-life experience with young students.
