The Royal Heritage Store and Spa on Chatham St is situated in a 200-year-old, almost fully restored British Colonial edifice. The interior of the space can best be described as ‘royal Ceylonese’ It denotes a grandeur dating from the Colonial era of an exotic Sri Lanka featuring Parisian windows, high ceilings and walls adorned with floral art. The ambience immediately reminds you of a tropical garden for a sense of indulgent nostalgia for a world gone by.

Spa Ceylon is the place to go for real ayurvedic spa treatments. It’s a unique combination of massage with therapeutic essential oils chosen to suit your dosha. It’s expensive, but the treatments are very good. On a budget? It’s a good place to pick up locally made cosmetic and wellness products. Try their range of balms and soothing lotions are some of their best-selling products. Their new range of gourmet teas are really popular as well.
