Already for more than 3 centuries this is the local post office. The first one, built in 1746 was replaced in 1929 by this iconic white orange building by architect Baumgartner.

Ground floor is still a post office, but the upper floors are now home to restaurants, souvenir shops, a gallery and capsule hotel. We like Batavia Market with Indonesian fare, vegan friendly dishes and a selection of healthy juice that are perfect refreshment for a sunny day.
