Barber on the stairs
At the top of this non-descript staircase is the Beautiful Life Barber Shop. A Fujian trained barber, Mr. Chen, came to Hong Kong over a decade ago. He used to work as a hairstylist on Yuet Wah Street in Kwun Tong, and later moved with his family to North Point to live and work.
Keeping the Shanghai Style
The shop was originally operated by a Shanghai barber with quite a reputation. Mr. Chen took over the shop when he migrated to Canada, who kept the authentic Shanghai style, he even uses hair accessories only seen at a Shanghainese barber shop!
Our customers come from all over the world! It shows the multi-cultural melting pot that is North Point.
