Affordable roasted goose

You may think this is just another Cantonese restaurant, but ask any North Point local for their all-time favourite roasted meat and they will bring you here. Opened by a long-term resident who was tired looking for good value food in his own hood and hired a master Cantonese chef to start his own restaurant. The chef hails from Xin Hui, famous for roasted goose. He uses special Lai Chi wood to create a smoky flavour with crunchy skin.

Our favourites

Try the signature roasted goose, but make sure not to miss the Char Siu. Using locally sourced pork and honey, it’s a big seller. Get in early, they sell out quickly!

Where’s the fort?

The full length of Fort street is less than 300m, and part of it is privately owned. In the colonial times, the British empire once built a battery fort on this hill. It was later abandoned and a main road is constructed, giving its name “Fort Street”.
