Millennial Filipino food
Alamat is all about celebrating Filipino identity, but adding their own contemporary twist. It’s a really popular craft beer pub, but the food here is not your average pub grub. Chef Nino Laus puts together amazing flavour combinations on a stick: grilled pork with tuna ceviche, squid with mango and chicken wings with pako, tomato and salted egg.
To make the most of this creative culinary experience, make sure to go for the “pulutan” pairing of local craft beer with a selection of skewers.
Nice to know!
Alamat, which means folklore in Filipino, is named after the stories people talk about under the moonlight… Yet to most locals the pub is known as “amat”, short for getting tipsy….
