Old colonial charm
One of the few heritage gems in the neighbourhood, from 1918 to 1961 this was Makati’s city hall. This classic old Manila mansion with original capiz-shell windows is worth a visit just for the photographs of colonial Manila and murals of old mayors. It’s also a popular space for art exhibitions and other events.
Closed for renovations
The museum is currently closed for a major renovation. The exhibition has been moved to the Makati City Hall in the interim for storage. No projected opening date as yet. We’ll keep you posted.
