Pineapple Lab not only brings a contemporary artistic touch to Makati, this is the go-to place for Filipino art in Manila. The industrial chic gallery space with high ceilings makes for a blank canvas where creative juices can flow freely. Emerging Filipino artists are challenged and groomed in Artists-in-Residence, B*lab and Pineapple Jam programmes.

“The journey of bringing the Filipino art to the global stage is just beginning” says creative director Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan an award-winning director and producer who divides his time between Manila and New York City where he worked in theatre productions and cultural organisations. Andrei is also the Festival Director and Founder of The Manila Fringe Festival, an annual multi-genre international art festival.
