Handsome building
Built by the wealthy Chinese Mestizo Estrella Family in 1916, the house is a typical Bandehado style, a local variation of the old Spanish style houses. The property commands a nice view of two of Quiapo’s main streets, Bilibid Viejo and Raon Street.
Popular film scene
Because of its beauty and location, Estrella House is a favourite of local film production companies for movies and TV shows. Currently, it is being used as the main set by one of the Philippines’ highest rated primetime drama Ang Probinsyano (The Provincial).
