Pineapple bun rules
The Sai Kung Cafe and Bakery has been around since 2002. The family run business is most famous for their pineapple buns. People come from all around Hong Kong to buy the buns, crispy on the outside is crispy and soft on the inside, served with a slab of butter.
We sell so many pineapple buns, that cannot even count how many.
Our recommendation
The bakery is a real Sai Kung institution. “They bake them fresh and the smell of them makes me want to eat it,” says Alex, a HKA student. Be quick, the buns are so popular, the queues here on the weekend can get very long.
