An ecologist dream come true

A personal dream
The story goes back thirty years. The days when marine ecologist and diver Rili Djohani had an idea to protect Bali’s beautiful underwater world. With help and support far and wide, the Coral Triangle Center (CTC) was set up in 2010 and since then has become a hub of learning and know-how.
What’s so special?
The Coral Triangle is often overlooked. Stretching across six countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste – this area is “the world’s epicentre of marine biodiversity”. Home to over two-third of all known coral species and an important area for endangered animals like whales, sea turtles, manta ray, sunfish and more! Sadly, these beautiful species are under threat, and CTC is working its best to protect them by setting up learning sites in marine protected areas.
Travel Good
You can help! Spend half an hour at the escape room to solve some of the ocean’s deepest mysteries, dive into a PADI pool, explore the digital aquarium and learning labrororaty or just buy some eecologicallyinspired ceramics.
