Sunset by the lake
Baiyun Lake Park is the first artificial lake built in Guangzhou city after the 21st century.The park is divided into East Lake, West Lake and Wetland Park, the East Lake is the best place to watch the sunset. It can get busy here with couples taking wedding photos, joggers and dog walkers, but the lake is large and the atmosphere serene. There are plenty of spots with just the sounds of the birds and occasional drums of the dragonboats that float over the water.
The sunset was merely a flush of rose on a dome of silver.
The best time
In summer, it is recommended to arrive at around 6:30pm and in winter around 5:30pm.
