This is the place where the locals come for a quick espresso. Fong Da Coffee is an old school 1950’s café originally from Taiwan modeled after a Mediterranean style neighborhood coffee bar. Priding itself on brewing traditions and rich heritage, this is a place where they take coffee seriously.
I thought that water drop coffee was a gimmick, but when you go inside, you will see the real stuff brewing.
From Taiwan to Maco
Lamgo went to Taiwan and learned the trade from Mr. Cao and then brought back this coffee culture to Macao. Coffee beans and machines are still supplied by Taiwan’s headquarters, but beans are roasted on-site.
