Curated Art Routes

In 2016 we were excited to announce our inaugural collaboration with the HKAGA, presenting exclusively created and themed HK Art Week walking routes. Three specially-curated routes, all available for free in the iDiscover Hong Kong App, are on offer:

  • Central – Art meets Heritage;
  • South Island – Industrial Gems; and
  • SOHO-SYP – Street Art.

Each walk provides an easy-to-use offline guide of art galleries and hidden gems in these creative neighbourhoods. All three routes was available for the duration of Art Week (commencing 27 Oct), for free download on iOS and Android.

But wait, there’s more!

HKAGA and iDiscover also hosted an unique Art Treasure Hunt in three locations.  Art-loving participants downloaded iDiscover App together with a uniquely designed printed map to navigate to 8-10 different checkpoints. At each checkpoint there was a task, question or photo challenge to earn stamps. Get 5 stamps for a souvenir at the finish point. Extra prizes for the most creative photos in this great art discovery! The Art Treasure Hunt took place as below:

  • Central 1/11 (Tuesday)  4 – 7pm, start: Galerie Du Monde
  • South Island 5/11 (Saturday) 2 – 5pm, start: Ovolo Hotel
  • SOHO-SYP  9/11 (Wednesday) 4 – 7pm, start: Galerie Ora-Ora
