Today, the business is run by Kwan’s wife, who eagerly shares recipes with her neighbors. You’ll find house-made soy bean (豆板醬) and fermented tofu paste (腐乳) — essential ingredients in Cantonese cuisine — along with high-quality soy milk (豆漿) Best of all is the tofu pudding (豆腐花), a light, creamy dessert that is refreshing on a hot day and heartwarming on a cold one.
