We are from Matara - lived and breathed here since birth. The rich history here is charged by the strategic location of the ocean, land and river. The historic buildings and stories define the spirit of this place. We, the youth treasure these tokens from the past. We should treasure these tokens of our history. We envision positive change and new beginnings. අපි මාතර - උපතේ සිට ජීවත් වූයේ සහ හුස්ම ගත්තේ මෙහි ය. මෙහි ඉතිහාසය වර්ණවත්ය. එය මූලික වශයෙන් ආරෝපණය වන්නේ සාගරයේ, ගොඩබිමේ සහ ගංගාවේ උපායමාර්ගික පිහිටීම මගිනි. තරුණයන් වන අපි ස්ථාවරත්වය, ධනාත්මක වෙනසක් සහ නව ආරම්භයක් අපේක්ෂා කරමු.
