With global warming in its height and our sea shores eroding away, we treasure this tiny dot on the Matara map. Back in the day, people could walk across to it on land and today, there is a bridge. Given what happened in the past with natural disasters and human intervention, we don’t know where it will go.
We envision a future that will let us still see and visit this island - and promise to do everything in our power to not let it disappear.
