People’s Park is the city’s central park, right in the middle of the city, wrapped around the magnificent ShweDagon Pagoda. Popular as always for a picnic, a game of chess, morning yoga or an afternoon stroll. The ark got a make-over in 2008 with colourful plants and plenty of exercise equipment and playgrounds for young and old.
When I arrived in Yangon, I firstly wanted to come to this People’s Park as I heard the biggest and most enjoyable roller coaster is here.
Go for a ride
People’s park has the only roller coaster in Yangon. Or try some of the other exciting rides like the tornado or the flying motorcycles.
